In the global business environment, organizations operate in a competitive and dynamic business environment, where they require good leadership, continuous innovation and strategic human resource management. Globalization has created new business opportunities to transcend borders and has made workforce diversity, employee development and inclusive leadership more important. In the quest to achieve competitiveness, the presence of women in positions of power has become a very interesting topic, as women contribute to organizational performance, decision-making processes and diversity in the workplace. Retail and construction supply jobs have traditionally been considered “masculine” due to their technical knowledge, construction and industrial relations. However, in recent years, it has been seen that women are playing leadership roles in this industry and doing a great job in the growth of organizations. Their participation breaks gender stereotypes and fosters gender equality and a culture of inclusivity in the workplace. This is a case study of development of Jingsan Hardware Sdn. Bhd. is a retail and paint distribution firm from Sabah with an extraordinary ability to grow. This is a very interesting case study to study because it is one of the companies that has a very inclusive culture among women leaders and employees. The main purpose of this case study is to analyze how the leadership experiences of female leaders help in the development of organizational practices, human resource management and employee development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the leadership experiences of female managers and leaders, organizational support for women, training and development and company policies in terms of equal opportunities. These aspects will provide insights into female leadership and organizational sustainability through the support of Human Resource Management.

The Strategic Entrepreneurial course is
designed to expose students to the realworld
application of entrepreneurial
concepts, particularly in areas such as
strategic planning, leadership, decisionmaking,
and operational management.
Rather than focusing solely on theories
taught in lectures, this course emphasizes
experiential learning, where students are
required to step out of the classroom and
experience entrepreneurship in a practical
and realistic environment.
One of the key components of this course
was participation in the vendor expo
during La Innoventura Festiva, a largescale
entrepreneurship event organized by
the Entrepreneurship Club of the Faculty
of Business, Economics and Accounting,
Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The event
brought together students, academic staff,
and visitors, providing a platform for
students to apply business ideas, showcase
creativity, and experience real customer
interaction.
