Abstract:
Study of parasitology covers eucaryotic parasites which encompasses protozoa (unicellular animals) and helminths (worms) and ectoparasites (arthropods). This module only focus on the introduction of eucaryotic parasites which covers the type and characteristics of each parasitic group. We will discuss some of the terms often used in parasitology. Upon completion of this module, you should demonstrate the ability to describe the types of parasites and their characteristics.
