Abstract:
This study was discussed about the workforce effect and investment in human capital in new norms after the pandemic COVID19. The study aims to gain insights on workforce effect and investment in human capital in Malaysia in new norms to look on a strategic measure that has been taken to counter the issues. Some literature reviews on the workforce and human capital issue also highlighted in this study. The issues were constructed as a main-frame and been discussed thoroughly with supported evidence and some arguments from previous findings and reports. The main issues being discussed are the effect on workforce for Small Medium Enterprise (SMEs), productivity, and unemployment also the investment in human capital as the solution for the main issues such as education, health and training workers. The effect on workforce is considered as the most important issues and needs to be resolved in a way of investment in human capital since it really affected by the new norms. We concluded that new norms do affect the workforce and human capital investment need to be done in Malaysia in terms of education, health, and training workers.
