Abstract:
Fertility rate represents a woman’s ability to bear children throughout her lifetime, encompassing the period beyond the reproductive age and taking into account specific age-specific fertility rates during that lifetime (Preston & Hartnett, 2010). In Malaysia, the fertility rates can be seen in the declining trends which affects many factors. Hence, this report will discover the influence of the fertility rates and the economic development in Malaysia. This report is using secondary data as the methodological approach to obtain the data needed such as fertility rates, Growth Domestic Product (GDP), and other related data.
