Abstract

Medical students need to learn an immense amount of medical science knowledge. Most of the students use mnemonic as a learning tool that aids the original information to become something more memorable, allowing the brain to have strong information retention by using combination of let-ters forming sentences or words [1]. This technique is applied in modern medicine [2], where it helps users, both students and professionals, to re-member long lists of diseases [3]. Most mnemonic devices only consist of one type of information, such as acronyms, phrases or visuals alone, and they are not linked to each other. i-Mnemonipedia that we will developed is an integrated mnemonic system which includes acronyms, unique phrases, animations as well as a medical encyclopaedia to facilitate more effective learning. The i-Mnemonipedia app will be easily accessible via online download on computers and mobile devices.
