Abstract:
Harassment at the workplace involves constant negative behavior toward an employee or a group of employees that might be creating an unendurable working atmosphere. The U.S. EEOC defined harassment as including offensive jokes, slurs, physical assaults, intimidation, ridicule, and interference with work performance. It may also include verbal, psychological, or physical behaviors. It may target individuals on the basis of their race, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, or any other status that has been accorded protected status.
