Abstract:
The employment rate and economic equality of women in the United States is still being impacted by the issues regarding their gender roles. There are several biases women experience while working in male dominated industries, earning male equivalent salaries, or even assuming managerial and executive positions. And these become worse for women that immigrants which puts them and the whole system on a disadvantage. In order to address these challenges, it is necessary to understand the rationale behind them and implement actions that will encourage women willingness to work and create fairness in all positions across all industries.
