Abstract:
Women face a “double burden syndrome” managing both domestic duties and outside
work. Cultural norms often assign women the primary caregiving role, limiting their
ability to work. According to study by (ILO,2018), the labour force participation
rate of women in Malaysia is substantially lower than males. Even with
advancements in education, women’s labour market percentages are still low.
