dc.description.abstract The SOLO (Structure of the Observed Learning Outcome) taxonomy is a model that categorizes levels of learning complexity, helping educators assess students' understanding and mastery of a topic. Developed by Biggs and Collis, it progresses through five stages: prestructural (minimal understanding), unistructural (grasping one relevant aspect), multistructural (understanding multiple elements independently), relational (integrating elements into a coherent structure), and extended abstract (applying understanding in new, broader contexts). This taxonomy guides educators in designing learning activities that foster deeper comprehension and critical thinking, supporting students as they progress to more sophisticated levels of understanding. en_US
