dc.description.abstract The Index of Learning Styles (ILS), developed by Dr. Richard Felder and Dr. Linda Silverman, identifies four dimensions of learning: Active vs. Reflective, Sensing vs. Intuitive, Visual vs. Verbal, and Sequential vs. Global. It helps students understand how they best process information, whether through hands-on activities, abstract thinking, visual aids, or logical steps. By recognizing these preferences, students can adopt personalized strategies to improve learning, and educators can design teaching methods that cater to diverse needs, enhancing academic success. en_US
