Student Engagement and Contextual Learning: Understanding Expatriate Management through Industry Tour and Sharing Session

Abstract

The group was tasked to conduct a sharing session by collaborating with a representative from the industry. After several attempts, we were honoured to be given a chance to host the sharing session with Miss Chee Kim Fung the Human Resource Manager from KASI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. We had successfully conducted the sharing session with the students from the program of International Business on 20th December 2019, Friday. The main objective of conducting the sharing session was to provide an opportunity for students to gain more knowledge and experiences from a professional in the industry prior to their internship and work life. With both of the topics that had been presented by Miss Kim, she had given the real-life examples that she experienced while working in KASI to enable the students to understand better.
