dc.description.abstract This paper critically reviews the extant literature on the factors influencing donation behavior toward Religious Non-Profit Organizations (RNPOs) in Malaysia. RNPOs play a pivotal role in providing community services, often relying on donations to sustain their operations. Understanding the key determinants of donor behavior is essential in a competitive fundraising environment. The review identifies financial transparency, organizational image, public trust, and religious beliefs as core factors influencing donor intentions. The paper emphasizes the socio-cultural and religious context of Malaysia, providing insights into how these factors intersect to influence charitable giving to RNPOs. This review highlights gaps in the literature and suggests areas for future research that could advance the understanding of donor behavior in Malaysia's religious non-profit sector. en_US
