Abstract:
The UMS-SPRINT: ESG module was developed to support the University Malaysia Sabah's goal of implementing the ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) concept in the teaching and learning of the Credited Curriculum Course (KKB). This module provides guidance on implementing community-based ESG services under the brand name UMS-SPRINT: ESG that began in the second semester of the 2023/2024 session.
This module includes a section that provides an explanation of the background of ESG ideas, the roles of students, the methods of implementation, as well as the reports on activities conducted during this semester.
The UMS-SPRINT module: ESG is an instructional approach that aims to cultivate a well-rounded student who is conscientious and accountable for the welfare of society. Acquiring knowledge and skills through this particular experience are not only contribute to the student’s value added, but also has positive impacts on communities and the organisations involved in the implementation.
