Abstract:
MFRS 9: Financial Instruments is a Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard that outlines the requirements for the recognition, measurement, impairment, and hedging of financial instruments. It aligns with the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS 9) and replaces the previous standard, MFRS 139. The key objectives of MFRS 9 is to provide a comprehensive framework for accounting for financial instruments, enabling entities to present relevant and useful information to users of financial statements.
