dc.description.abstract A business plan is a written document that highlights the goals of a business and strategies to achieve them. It becomes a roadmap to achieve success which makes it significant for both start-ups and established businesses. While a business plan helps entrepreneurs to view their businesses in a critical and objective manner, it also serves as a communication tool for various stakeholders. However, to ensure the effectiveness of a business plan, it must pass three tests: reality, competitive and value. en_US
