Abstract:
The guest lecture conducted at Universitas Nasional Indonesia (UNAS) and the Bir Pletok community focused on preparing students to engage meaningfully with local communities. It emphasized practical competencies such as assessing community needs, planning sustainable interventions, collaborating respectfully with stakeholders, and applying ethical and culturally sensitive approaches. Students were introduced to structured frameworks for project planning, communication, and impact evaluation, ensuring their initiatives provide real benefits to the community while enhancing their personal and professional growth. By connecting academic learning with hands-on community interaction, the lecture reinforced the importance of social responsibility, empathy, and professional readiness in preparing students for future roles that require both leadership and collaborative engagement.
